Here Are All The Most Hilarious Reactions To 'The Lion King' Trailer
"If you're not excited for the new Lion King movie.. you're lion"
If you're a fan of singing lions, then there's a good chance that you've been in a heightened state of emotion since the drop of Disney's new The Lion King trailer. Wonder, awe, excitement, perhaps confusion, maybe horniness? These are all valid The Lion King trailer reactions. We're not going to judge.
If you haven't seen it, the new trailer is photorealistic rather than cartoon, and recreates the legendary opening scene of the original film, in which a baby Simba is presented to a whole bunch of animals and somehow you're overly teary.
You can watch it here.
Let's break it all down. Mostly people are extremely excited about the chance to revisit one of the most iconic films of all time, full of an astoundingly extra cast including THE Beyoncé Knowles Carter. Amazing.
There's EXCITEMENT.

There are the extremely wholesome and pure responses.
RE: Lion King
There's a great profit incentive to remake it, there's also probably a lot of entertainment value in it. But, I think humanizing animals and teaching a new generation of kids that they're worth preserving is worth it in and of itself. pic.twitter.com/Qg1LJ0um1u

Some people are… sceptical.

Why is everyone talking about a new trailer for The Lion King. The Lion King already came out. It came out in the millennium before the current millennium. I think it had cats and a pig in it

And some people are just absolutely dreading one particular scene:
Honestly I'm finally just getting over the trauma of Mufasa now I have to go and re-live it all over again only this time it's even MORE REAL

Damn, Disney really bout to make me pay them money to watch Mufasa die in Ultra HD 4K pic.twitter.com/NDG9tLDpIL

When I was 5, it was Mufasa's death that made me cry. At 26, apparently it only takes his voice in the trailer.
